Established in 1997, Feralloy Midwest Portage plant is 187,000 square feet and has easy access to rail, truck and barge at the Port of Indiana. Four cranes, with a maximum lifting capacity of 55 tons, service three processing lines.
The cut-to-length line, temper mill and slitter process hot rolled, pickled and oiled, cold rolled and coated steel products.
Gauge range from .056" to .750".
Coil-to-coil temper passing, coil-to-cut length, and heavy gauge slitting, strategically located in the heart of Midwest steel making, offers state-of-the-art processing equipment dedicated to being one of the best steel processors in the country.
Using the most modern equipment in the industry to sell and toll process steel for custom-designed stocking programs.
Feralloy Midwest Portage Division is an ISO-9001:2000 facility.
